Refund & Cancellation Policy

1. Overview
This Refund & Cancellation Policy applies to coaching services, coaching packages, and digital products purchased from Moe Akel Coaching.
By completing a purchase, you acknowledge this policy, subject to any rights that cannot be excluded under applicable law.
2. Clarity Sessions
You may cancel or reschedule a Clarity Session by emailing moe@moeakelcoaching.com.
At least 48 hours before the session: You may reschedule or request a refund.
Between 24 and 48 hours before the session: You may reschedule once, but the payment is non-refundable.
Less than 24 hours before the session: The session is considered used and is non-refundable.
Failure to attend: A missed session is considered used and is non-refundable.
Exceptions may be considered for genuine emergencies at our reasonable discretion.
3. Private Coaching Journey
You may request a full refund within seven calendar days of purchase if no coaching session has taken place and no substantive personalized coaching materials have been delivered.
After coaching begins, you may cancel the remaining package by emailing moe@moeakelcoaching.com. Any approved refund will be calculated as follows:
Completed or late-cancelled sessions will be valued at the regular single-session rate of CA$280 each.
That amount will be deducted from payments already received.
Any remaining refundable balance will be returned to the original payment method.
If the value of completed or forfeited sessions equals or exceeds the amount paid, no refund will be due.
Any outstanding balance for services already provided remains payable.
Refund calculations remain subject to applicable consumer-protection law.
4. Package Scheduling and Expiry
The five-session Private Coaching Journey should ordinarily be completed within six months of the first session.
Unused sessions expire after that period unless an extension is agreed to in writing. Reasonable extensions may be considered for illness, emergencies, or other exceptional circumstances.
5. Payment Plans
A payment plan divides the total package price into scheduled payments. It is not a cancel-at-any-time subscription.
Selecting a payment plan authorizes the payment schedule displayed at checkout. Cancelling future coaching sessions does not automatically cancel amounts owed for sessions already provided, late-cancelled, or otherwise used.
Where a partial refund is approved, any remaining payment obligations will be adjusted based on the refund calculation described above.
6. Late Arrival
If you arrive late, the session will normally end at its originally scheduled time.
If you are more than 15 minutes late without contacting us, the session may be treated as missed and considered used.
7. Cancellation by Moe Akel Coaching
If we need to cancel or reschedule a session, you may choose a replacement time.
If a suitable replacement cannot be arranged, you will receive a refund or account credit for the affected unused session.
If we discontinue a coaching package, you will receive a refund for eligible unused sessions unless another arrangement is agreed to in writing.
8. Digital E-book Purchases
Because the e-book is delivered digitally and cannot practically be returned, digital purchases are generally final once the download link or file has been provided.
A refund or replacement may be considered if:
You were charged more than once for the same purchase
You received the wrong file
The file is corrupted or cannot be opened and we cannot provide a working replacement
A refund is required under applicable law
Contact moe@moeakelcoaching.com within seven days of purchase and include your order information and a description of the problem.
Purchasing the e-book does not permit its redistribution, resale, public upload, or sharing with others.
9. Processing Refunds
Approved refunds will be returned to the original payment method.
Processing time depends on Squarespace Payments, the payment network, and your financial institution. We cannot control how long your bank takes to display the refund after it has been issued.
Unless required by law, we do not provide cash refunds or transfer refunds to a different payment method.
10. Statutory Rights
Nothing in this policy limits cancellation, refund, delivery, misrepresentation, or other consumer rights that cannot lawfully be waived.
If applicable law provides a right that conflicts with this policy, the mandatory legal right applies.
